When I work with intaglio, I express my political and social consciousness.Etching allows for bold experimentation and the accumulation of detail. I find this medium fitting for the interpretation of our complex and unpredictable contemporary world.
The Babel Towers symbolize our excessively vertical power systems where economic resources are concentrated in the hands of only a few people, leading to social, political and climatic instability.
