Final Selection - Artwork Submission Timeline and Procedures

For all works passing the Preliminary Selection, submissions of the originals will be accepted from March 21, 2024, to April 25, 2024. Ineligible works or works arriving later than April 25 will not be accepted. Please take into consideration the delivery time and submit the original works as early as possible before the deadline. (Participants should cover all costs incurred from postal deliveries)


All regulations should be met as stated in the 2024 TIPB regulations, below are some gentle reminders for you:

A. Please confirm if your original work meets the regulations:

1.  Each submitted work must not be larger than 150 cm in either length or width in paper size (not image size), and no smaller than 40 cm in either length or width. The work must not be more than 20 cm thick. Combined prints, in total, must not exceed this size range, too.

2.  A signature must be made either on the printed side or the back of the artwork, noting the print edition and year of creation. The signature must be clear and discernable, and the artwork must NOT be framed.


B. Prepare your package

1.  The submitted works should not be framed and should be securely packed using a sturdy cylinder (short) or thick cardboard. For international submissions, please clearly label the outer packaging as “No Commercial Value.”

2.  All the finalists please visit the "Application>> Final Selection Submission & Delivery Status Inquiry" on our website to download Deposition, Licensing Agreement and postal tags. The back of an original work will come with an entry tag. The postal tag will be attached to the parcel.

 

C. Instruction for submissions:

1. The artwork, along with a deposition form and a licensing agreement signed by the artist, will be sent by post to the following address: No. 2, Sec. 1, Wu-Chuan W. Road, Taichung City, Taiwan 403414 / 2024 Taiwan International Print Biennial Office, National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. In-person deliveries and works arrive after April 25, 2024 are not accepted.

2.  Domestic and overseas submissions should be sent by post. The participants should cover all costs, insurance, and taxes incurred from postal deliveries.

 

D. Confirmation of delivery status

After sending out the package, you can check the delivery status on the 2024 TIPB official website. Log in to "Online Registration>> Final Selection Submission & Delivery Status Inquiry" to confirm the delivery status. Once we receive your work, we will carefully open, examine and enter data. After finishing all the steps, we will update the status online. As we take each work carefully, it may take 10 working days for us to update online, kindly wait patiently.
