- Boundlessness II

The theme of my art evolves from establishing a dialogue with the environment. Since adolescence, I have been flying between places, not knowing how long to stay, feeling the dread of leaving. The elements in the work represent vague memories of things or tastes or temperatures. The juxtaposition of fragmented shapes describes the places from childhood, adolescence, the sea, the landscape, the rivers, the paths, some of which are familiar, most of which have been forgotten... Full of nostalgia for the past, confusion about the present and anxiety towards the future. The use of abstraction and map symbols combined with different types of printing methods and paper pulp, creates a variety of textures and layers; the gradient gray scale of the intaglio, the contrast of the woodblock, the texture of the paper pulp, the engraved lines of drypoint form my imaginary world. “Boundlessness II” presents a continuous intersection of space and time. It captures many moments that are both personal and universal.
